Made in the tradition of the Northern Rhone, winemakers Jason and Molly Drew coferment 5% Viognier with this Syrah which lifts the aromatics. On the nose purple violets, blue and black fruits, cured meat, subtle white pepper, anise, black olives and iron mineral notes. On the palate, blackberry, juniper berries, prosciutto, black olives, pink peppercorns with a hint of orange peel. A gorgeous food wine to enjoy with a slow roasted lamb shank or a mushroom bourguignon.
